THE FIRE TRIBE

In 2013 I lit a matchstick, and the vision to make a tribe of 21 sculptures literally flashed on my inner eye…and that is what I did. The 21 sculptures are 2,7 m tall, they are made in aspen, ceramics and horsehair. For inquiries about purchase contact me.

They have been on a journey outdoors since 2013, they have been in the Norwegian mountains, by the coast, in city centre of the capital Oslo, in the forest, by the fjords…they have been met and journeyed into hearts of several hundred thousands of people (in a country with about 5 million inhabitants). They have been on an incredible visual journey; so many of these images are turned into new artworks on canvas, to witness their stories.
